Original Art Deco
Art Deco was an innovative design style during the 1920's and 1930's. Its sleek, streamlined forms conveyed elegance and sophistication. The Art Deco movement introduced styles that often focused on bold colours and geometric shapes. (All Original Art Deco earrings sold at Harlequin Market are, unless stated otherwise, clip-on, however they are able to be converted to pierced if required.)
Jakob Bengel: German artist Bengel produced costume jewellery catalogued from 1924 - 1939. His pieces combine brass and chrome with geometric shapes of coloured galalith.
